Diesel engines ignite and operate using the heat of combustion. During initial start-up and during cold weather temperatures, the use of glow plugs is essential for starting up a diesel engine. CTP engineers and manufactures glow plugs to withstand the rigorous demands of today’s diesel engines.

FEATURES

Tube Alloy: offers a higher resistance to the erosion produced into the combustion chamber.

The system of welding used between the electrical resistance and the tube: offers a more homogeneous and controllable weld, which avoids the resistive wire’s weakness during the welding process.

Internal resistance’s and material used (A): offer a higher durability, and the supporting of unexpected over-tensions.

The internal insulating material between the resistance and the tube (B): provides a better insulation control, with a lower internal humidity retention, generating a longer life for heater element.
